These terms describe your agreement with MyLastWeek when you download and use the iOS app. They are written in plain English. If anything is unclear, please write to us.
MyLastWeek is a private memory journal for iPhone. You capture moments and you write the Week Story; the app can lay out a draft from that week's own moments, by fixed rules on your device, for you to edit. Your memories are stored on your device, and — only if you turn on iCloud sync — in your own private iCloud database.
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use MyLastWeek on iOS devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. This license is governed by the Apple App Store's standard end-user license agreement in addition to these terms.
You own every moment, note, photo, video, voice memo, transcript, and Story you create in MyLastWeek. We do not claim any ownership of your content, and we do not have access to it: your content is stored on your device, and, if you turn on iCloud sync, in your own private iCloud database under your Apple ID. You may export all of it at any time, free, as a ZIP archive — your moments as JSON plus every photo, video, and voice file.
When you use MyLastWeek, you agree not to:
MyLastWeek does not require an account, and there is no MyLastWeek server that holds your memories. iCloud sync is a setting you turn on; when it is on, your moments and their photos, videos, and voice notes are stored in your own private iCloud database under your Apple ID, which we cannot read. When it is off, nothing leaves the device. Changing the setting takes effect the next time you launch the app.
Because we hold nothing, we cannot retrieve, restore, or transfer your content for you — your export and your iOS device backup are your safety net.
MyLastWeek is free. There is nothing to buy inside the app and no subscription is offered. iCloud sync, backup, and export are free and are not a paid tier. If this ever changes, these terms will be updated first and the change announced in the app.
MyLastWeek is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, and iCloud sync depends on Apple's services, your Apple ID, and your available iCloud storage.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyLastWeek is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of memories, content, or data — arising out of your use of the app. Our total liability in any matter relating to MyLastWeek will not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by applicable law.
You may stop using MyLastWeek at any time by deleting it from your device — export your memories first if you want to keep them. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, where MyLastWeek is developed. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence still apply and are not limited by this clause.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Material changes will also be announced in the app. Continuing to use MyLastWeek after the update takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
