If you write from inside the app via Settings → Send Feedback, your message will include the device model and app version so we can reproduce the issue. Your memories, media, and locations are never attached.
Everything you write, photograph, record, or transcribe stays on your iPhone. There is no MyLastWeek cloud and no account.
Because MyLastWeek stores data on-device, your memories are included in your standard iCloud or Finder iPhone backup. If you restore from that backup on a new device, your memories come with it.
Open Settings inside the app, scroll to Danger Zone, and tap Delete All Memories. This permanently erases every moment, voice note, app-stored photo or video, transcript, generated context, and search index from your device.
They are off by default. If you have turned them on, open Settings → App Analytics or Crash Diagnostics and toggle them off. The change takes effect immediately.
Check Settings → Weekly Reminder and confirm reminders are enabled and a day is selected. Then check iOS Settings → Notifications → MyLastWeek and confirm notifications are allowed.
If MyLastWeek detects missing media, the Media Diagnostics card in Settings will tell you. The original moments are kept; only the missing files cannot be displayed. This usually happens when storage cleanup removes the on-device copy.
Plus is an optional subscription that unlocks Monthly and Yearly Stories and the Keepsake PDF export. Weekly Stories, unlimited moments, and every capture feature are free forever — Plus only unlocks features that look across longer stretches of time.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. You can start a 7-day free trial and subscribe from the Plus screen in the app. To cancel, open iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions, or visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
Every account gets one free Monthly Story credit, separate from the free trial. The credit is consumed the first time you generate a Month Story, whether or not you have Plus. After that, generating new Monthly or Yearly Stories requires a Plus subscription. The credit is not refundable or transferable.
The Stories that MyLastWeek writes for you are generated entirely on your iPhone, using Apple Foundation Models — the same on-device AI behind Apple Intelligence. Your moments, photos, voice notes, transcripts, and Health context never leave your device for summarization. There is no cloud AI option, even as a paid tier. If on-device generation is not available on your device or in your language, the app falls back to a local template, never to a remote service.
MyLastWeek ships in English and Spanish. Switch in Settings → Language.
